Cleaning the Enema Bucket

Equipment:

Procedure:

  1. Rinse bucket and tubing with hot water.
  2. Wash tubing with liquid soap.
  3. Wash bucket with hot soapy water and let drain through tube into sink.
  4. Rinse bucket and tube with hot water.
  5. Pour approximately ½ inch of 3% hydrogen peroxide into bucket and run through end of tube and stop with your fingers.  Coil tube in the bottom of the enema bucket with the hydrogen peroxide.  This will disinfect the tube inside and out in the bucket.
  6. Before doing next enema, rinse out bucket and tubing with hot water.
  7. Improper cleaning of your enema bucket can lead to bacteria build up which can lead to diarrhea.
  8. Improper cleaning of the bathroom surfaces that you touch during your enema can lead to bacteria contamination problems, which can lead to diarrhea.  Be clean, be safe.  If you touched it, clean it.
  9. Benefect All Natural Disinfectant Spray is one product you can use to clean bathroom surfaces.
